Waterloo United was formed with two goals in mind: double this year's election turnout, and ensure that the student leaders who represent all students are highly motivated and capable.

We're a team running to represent you on the Board and at Senate, with students from every faculty on campus. Our group spans a diverse set of backgrounds and experience: Executive experience, heavily involved club leaders, and seriously motivated and involved students.

In the complicated world of student governance, we're committed to making things simple:
1. Transparency. Let's see WUSA leaders engaging with the community: make it easy for you to find out what WUSA is doing at Society Councils, club communications, and intuitive web resources.

2. Efficiency. Some of the biggest complaints students have with WUSA are how long things take, or how convoluted things are to understand. Our experienced team understands both students and WUSA's structure well enough to launch a deep dive into tackling these issues, starting with broken club and society processes.

3. Diversity. The job of student leaders is to represent students, and the only way to do that is to have a diverse team that openly communicates to actively seek student feedback from across the... Board. Between WUSA's organizational overhaul and a dynamic relationship with the University, it's not easy to get things done without a solid understanding of how to get there: this is what we bring to the table.
